BC High School Students spend spring break learning all about Minnesota History

Funded entirely through the Minnesota History Center, this trip was an opportunity for students to learn about different parts of Minnesota History and answer the central questions of, "What does it mean to be Minnesotan and How do you feel Minnesotan?"
Students visited the Northwest Company Fur Trading Post, Canal Park in Duluth, the Duluth Lynching Memorial, and Gooseberry Falls before arriving in Grand Rapids for the evening.  Day 2 had them visit the Forest History Center for an immersive lumberjack experience along with a visit to the Mille Lacs Indian Museum.  Students are still buzzing from how exciting the trip was and what they got to see and learn.
