In 10th grade, all students will also complete the MYP personal project, which is an in-depth, independent study of a topic of choice. The project is meant to allow students to either delve further into a topic which has interested them in past school years or to learn more about an interest they may have outside of school. Projects examples include a historical research paper, designing and building a robot, or setting up an art class at a senior citizen home. Projects are graded externally by the IB and presented during the spring Personal Project Exhibition. Grades are recorded on the student’s transcript.
